THE FIRST ENERGY SUSTAINABILITY COMPETENCE DAY IN ESTONIA

Today different target groups are captivated by the dilemma, how, on the one hand, achieve effectiveness and cut expenses, and on the other hand, have a modern living environment offering all comforts.

Competence Centre of Innovative Building and Lifestyle orgnizes a competence day, which goal is to introduce the possibilities of creating energy sustainable buildings and having an ecologically energy sustainable lifestyle to the wider public. We will find answers to the question, how to lead an effective modern life with lower expenses without giving up the comforts.

The competence day takes place as an open-air event on the territory of Pühajärve Spa & Holiday Resort on 19 August from 10-19.

We invite specialists (builders, architects, manufacturers etc), professionals and entrepreneurs of the field to take part in the competence day along with the general public.

The programme of the competence day includes presentation of new ecological solutions, that are connected to the living environment in order to involve even more participants from among the entrepreneurs and to introduce thematic up-to-date competence of building and living environment to the general public.

Exhibitors at the competence day:

• Producer of hybrid cars Honda presents future visions in the car industry;
• Comparison of solar panels (production of electricity/production of heat);
• Producer of natural building materials Safran;
• Producers of heat and ventilation equipment with heat recovery:
• Producers of energy sustainable windows;
• Producers of nature products and many others.

 Parallel to the competence day, The Estonian ECO Cluster organizes a seminar in the rooms of Pühajärve Spa & Holiday Resort. The seminar is free for the visitors of the competence day .

The chief presenter of the seminar Georg W. Reinberg http://www.reinberg.net/reinberg. will talk about his 20-year-experience in the field of ecological and energy sustainable building based on successful examples, including creation and building of public houses by local governments. Also, he will share with the participants his future vision of people- and environment-friendly buildings, presenting the Solar-Activehouse concept – a building, which annual operating costs for heating and hot water generation have been reduced to zero.

We expect 150 Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian entrepreneurs, architects and specialists of local governments in the field of sustainable energy to participate at the seminar.

The participation fee of the competence day is 990 Estonian kroons (VAT is added), which includes the lectures, coffee and lunch breaks.
